Understanding Markets and Market Groups

What the different bet markets and market groups on an event page mean.

What is a market?

A market is a specific thing you can bet on within an event. The most common is 1x2 — betting on the home win (1), the draw (X), or the away win (2). A single event can have dozens of markets.

Market groups

To make markets easy to find, each event page groups them into tabs. The number on each tab shows how many markets are inside it. Common groups include:

  • Main: The most popular markets, such as 1x2 and 1st half 1x2.

  • Bet Builder: Combine several markets from this same match into one bet. See Using Event Builder / Bet Builder.

  • Halves: Markets focused on the first or second half.

  • Totals: Markets on the total (for example, total goals over/under a number).

  • Player Props: Markets on individual players (for example, a player to score).

  • Extras: Additional and specialty markets.

  • Handicaps: Markets where a team is given a virtual head start or deficit.

  • Fast: Short-term markets settled over a short upcoming window, useful for live betting.

Available groups vary by sport and event.

Pinning markets

Use the pin icon next to a market to keep it at the top of the list, so your preferred markets are always easy to reach on that event.
