How settlement works
A bet is "settled" once the result of the event (or the relevant market) is official. At that point your bet is marked as won, lost, or void, and any winnings are credited to your balance automatically.
When will my bet settle?
After the result is confirmed: Settlement happens once the official result for your market is available. Most markets settle shortly after the event ends.
Some markets take longer: Certain markets settle only after specific in-game events are officially confirmed, which can take additional time.
Winnings: If your bet wins, the payout is added to your balance in the currency you bet with.
Void and cancelled bets
Sometimes a bet (or a selection within it) is voided. When this happens, the stake for that selection is returned.
Why bets are voided: Common reasons include an event being cancelled, abandoned, or postponed beyond the allowed window, or a market being settled incorrectly and then corrected.
Single bets: A voided single is returned at odds of 1.00 — meaning your stake is given back.
Combo bets: If one selection in a combo is voided, that selection is removed and the combo is recalculated using the remaining selections.
Important notes
You can track the status of every bet in My Bets, filtered by Open, Won, Lost, Cashed Out, Cancelled, and Refund. A voided bet appears under Refund or Cancelled.
Settlement and void rules follow the standard Sportsbook rules for each sport and market.
If you believe a bet was settled incorrectly, contact Betstrike support with the bet details and we will review it.
